COURSE DESCRIPTION
Pure Practical Endodontics has been designed for dentists at any level of experience.
Limited to seven dentists per course, we ensure efficient hands-on training. The focus of this course is on the practical aspects of endodontics, which are essential for handling easy and moderate cases effectively by a general dentist.
As a result, increased revenue, less fatigue, as well as happier and more loyal patients can be expected. Training includes techniques such as rotary and reciprocating instrumentation, effective irrigation methods, use of ultrasonics, electronic apex locator for accurate measurements, 3-D obturation techniques, and bio-ceramic single-cone technique.
Our program equips dentists with advanced skills and techniques that can positively impact both their professional practice and patient care outcomes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: ( 4 hours didactic course)
At the completion of PPE the dentist should be able to:
- Understand Minimally Invasive Endodontics (MIE) concept
- Utilize techniques to preserve tooth structure during access prep and root canal shaping
- Practice new concepts of shaping and cleaning of the root canal system
- Recognize the rationales behind adequate root canal obturation
- Apply effective irrigation
- Use ultrasonics and its applications in Endodontics and MIE
- Operate electronic apex locator properly
LEARNING OBJECTIVES; ALL PRACTICAL ( a full day hands-on)
At the completion of PPE the dentist should be able to:
- Prepare a conservative, yet adequate endodontic access cavity
- Use ultrasonic technology to refine access cavity using ultrasonic instruments.
- Utilize ultrasonic energy to un-roof calcified pulp chambers, find MB2, and calcified canals
- Create a reproducible glide path, negotiate calcified and curved canals, and achieve patency
- Differentiate when to use K-files, C-files, and C-plus files (sizes 06, 08, or 10), the sequence, how to proceed, and when to switch to one another.
- Use lubricants and chelating agents effectively to negotiate calcified canals and to remove smear layer.
- Use electronic apex locator for working length determination and troubleshoot it.
- Choose which reciprocating/rotary file to start the shaping phase with.
- Practice rotary and reciprocating NiTi files to shape root canals properly and clean/irrigate sonically and ultrasonically.
- Determine when to stop shaping phase dictated by root canal anatomy or by apical gauging
- Modify the shaping sequence based on root canal anatomy.
- Manage to open the canals which are got blocked during shaping phase.
- Prepare S-shaped root canals.
- Practice cone fit predictably.
- Utilize a 3D warm vertical obturation and troubleshoot the root canal filling complications.
- Practice single cone technique using a bio-ceramic sealer
